22.2.08 I have just seen your production of l'Etranger at JacksonsLane. Excellent acting and mise en scène. However, l'Etranger is not about a man who refuses to cry. It's about a man who cannot. Meursault is sick and has a pathology which belongs to our modern times. Meursault suffers from Kanner Syndrom better known as Autism, a mental condition which was going to be discovered two years after Camus wrote l'Etranger by a German doctor Kanner in 1944. If you find that grieving for your mother is absurd then consider the fact that Adolf Eichmann suffered from Kanner Syndrom which puts a different perspective on Meursault's act and behaviour. The book is very descriptive of the symptoms of the condition: detachment, physical discomfort, lack of feelings and compassion etc. I know, I suffer from it. In the book, the judge describes Meursault as an empty vessel carrying the evil of the world, which exactly what Eichmann was all about, acting on behalf of the collective unconscious of the masses bent on extermination. Indeed, Meursault is the Anti-Christ. I was born the week they hung Eichmann. Just like for Meursault, Eichmann's defense lawyers failed him because they didn't uncover his pathology which renders the judgement passed on him void. Indeed, the death penalty is wrong. Always. Regards, Catherine Laz

I thought your production of L'Etranger at Jacksons Lane on 22/2/08 was superb. The adaptation for the stage was excellent as was the acting and the very imaginative direction. It was completely convincing and also reasonably easy to follow even though my French is not completely fluent. I hope you can put on more productions in the UK. Many thanks.

It was marvellous to have such a good quality theatre yesterday in Rödermark with "your Animal Farm". It was really a great moment, thank you, I admire your work and your skills ! I'll stay in touch with you to get the information about all your productions and tour dates. I'd like to help "advertizing" since I think not enough people here were informed about performance. I find it very nice that you work on plays in both English and French (I'm French!!), bravo continuez ainsi!

Hello everybody, me and three of my teacher colleagues took a party of 80! school students to watch your performance of 'Animal Farm' in Berlin's 'Akademie der Künste', on Tursday 8th March 2007. We all were extremely curious to find out how you could possibly manage to put this story with its complex plot and all those animal characters on stage; you did such a brilliant job.My students especially liked that you spoke so clearly they finally felt the English language can also be understood outside the classroom. You really gave them a big ego-boost.It's unfortunate though there was no interval so we could have chucked out those ignorant oaves who spoiled it all a bit for us (and I'm afraid for you too). Looking forward to seeing you again. Meinhard Schadow,Goethe-Gymnasium Nauen

We saw Animal Farm in Gothenburg only a few days ago. We enjoyed it thourouhly as it was versatile and entertaining with skillful acting. As my boyfriend is English speaking and loves the theatre so he was very much looking forward to finally going to see a play here in Sweden. Animal Farm is one of our favourite books and we think you did it justice. He was also very impressed with the fact that you did not use any pre-recorded sounds! We also felt the minimalistic approach to set design and costume was quite fitting.

Hi Ho! We are three students of the ability group English at the age of 17 and 18 years and we live near Berlin. On Wednesday, 2nd of February 2005 we watched your performance of "The Jungle Book". We liked the piece, although it was unexpected short, the way of presenting the animals was very good. Only in the beginning there were little problems to identify the characters like "Akela", but every character was very well, convincing and individuelly played. The music as well was very impressing, especially because you used nothing more than a bongo and your own voices. But we were a little bit disturbed about the end since it was really short and presented in a way that made us believe there is still missing a part (how Mowgli?s life will go onor how the animals will react towards him leaving the jungle). So we want to say that the artists get a great compliment for entertaining .

Last Wednesday we watched your performance of "The Jungle Book" in Berlin. The artists did a great job for entertaining us. All the actors were really sportive with great movements and the music was very impressing and everything was easy to understand but in the end we were a little bit disturbed because we thought it would be longer... All in all a really nice show!

I'm taking my students to see Pygmalion on November the 25th. We are reading the text in class and they are very excited about the play. I've taken my students to see "The Ghosts of Poe", "1984", "Oliver Twist" ... but I love Pygmalion, so I'm very excited too. I've seen the film "My Fair Lady" lots of times and I love the story. I think it's going to be a great experience.

I don't know if it is because I haven't seen that many plays in my young life yet, especially english ones, but '1984' was definatly the best. It was great to see such great actors. What they did on this minimal equiped stage was fantastic! The whole team did very good job and I hope to see you more often here in Germany. Thank you.
